We’ve chosen to define a scenario we call “Unmanaged Battery Behaviour”. In this scenario, your battery neither discharges energy to the grid nor charges from it. Instead, it simply charges from your solar panels and only discharges when you need to use the energy.

This setup is the common default after a solar and battery installation and many users find that this is the typical behaviour of their battery after their installer leaves.
